Cat disections are sad and upsetting for cat lovers but if there wasn't a good reason to disect them, schools wouldn't do it. I don't believe in killing an animal to disect it but if the cats die naturally then it is a little better. In most schools there is the option to not disect the cats, and one could do that instead. I highly doubt that schools will get rid of cat disections but if you're not comfortable with it, then don't do it.
